Praying for Paws is a non-profit dog rescue group that is dedicated to helping homeless dogs in the Henry County, Georgia area. We focus on larger dogs but have a large variety of breeds, such as German Shepherds, Border Collies, Beagles, terriers, hounds, and many beautiful Labrador Retrievers. Our biggest needs are adoptions, foster homes, volunteers, and donations.
Faye is a young Boxer/Hound mix girl who is less than 45 pounds. She loves to play and has a happy, energetic personality. Faye would be happiest in a home with a fenced yard with a family that will play with her and give her regular exercise.
Ramblin Wreck is a Jackets fan, for sure, but he is also a big, fun boy who is about 1 1/2 years old. The poor guy was found by a kind person, starved and scared, but he has completely recovered from his ordeal. HIs foster mom reports that he loves every dog and every person of any age! He is housetrained, knows a few commands already, is learning to walk on a leash and full of personality. He has been neutered, updated on vaccines and is ready for his permanent home!
